We were recently appointed to conduct a roof survey on nine industrial units in Norwich, which were suffering from regular leaks.

Our survey identified the problem areas and provided a number of menu options for their remedy.

The client, a public body, chose to apply a weatherproof membrane to two of the existing roofs, replace all of the roof lights and undertake patch repairs in the areas on the remaining elevations.

Acting as project managers for this £120,000 project, we specified the works, acted as CDM Co-ordinator, ran the tender process, appointed the contractors and managed the job through to completion.

The works were completed to the client’s full satisfaction and the coating system manufacturers have issued 10 year guarantees after inspecting the completed works.
